IOWA CITY, Iowa — On Tuesday, the Iowa men’s basketball team made the first 20 minutes of practice open to the media to shoot photos and video. With practices being closed off once the 2010-11 season begins, this is a rare opportunity to see what is going on inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena with head coach Fran McCaffery and his program.
The Hawkeyes will hold a practice on Oct. 23 at 12:15 p.m. inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena that will be open to the public. The start of practice is approximately two hours before the football game at Kinnick Stadium between Iowa and Wisconsin. There is also an exhibition game on Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. against Illinois-Springfield.
