Five days after the Iowa men’s basketball program was able to officially receive a national letter of intent from Cedar Rapids Washington product Josh Oglesby, the Hawkeyes made another addition to their 2011 recruiting class official on Monday in Aaron White, a 6-8 forward from Strongsville, Ohio.

Last season as a junior at Strongsville High School, White averaged 19.9 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks per game.

“Aaron can finish in traffic, has tremendous court demeanor, doesn’t rattle, he’s very concentrated and really thinks the game,” Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery said in a statement released on Monday. “He’s a guy who is really fun to play with because he understands how to win.”
