As first reported by the Cedar Rapids Gazette’s Marc Morehouse, Iowa senior wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos was arrested and held in a Johnson County Jail on Tuesday after being found on multiple charges of controlled substances, keeping a drug house, and two counts of unlawful prescription drug possession.

Upon this report, Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz said in a statement Tuesday evening that Johnson-Koulianos, who is the school’s all-time leader in both receptions and receiving yards, has been suspended from all team activities and will not be playing in the 2010 Insight Bowl against Missouri on Dec. 28.
