Iowa/Iowa State kickoff set

A release from the Big 12 on Friday confirmed that the Iowa Hawkeyes’ Sept. 10 showdown with the Iowa State Cyclones has been set for an 11 a.m. Central kickoff at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames. The game will be carried nationally on FSN.
The Hawkeyes have won the last three meetings against the Cyclones, with the most recent being a 35-7 win over Iowa State at Kinnick Stadium last season.
This is the fourth kickoff time confirmed on Iowa’s 2011 schedule. The Hawkeyes’ contests against Indiana on Oct. 22 and at Nebraska on Nov. 25 are also 11 a.m. start times, while their game at Kinnick Stadium against Northwestern on Oct. 15 has been set for a 6 p.m. Central kickoff.
