CHICAGO, Ill. — Iowa freshman guard Mike Gesell finished with 13 points in the Hawkeyes’ 73-59 win over Northwestern on Thursday in the first round of the 2013 Big Ten Tournament at the United Center. Gesell started in what was his first game since Feb. 23 after a stress reaction in his foot sidelined him for two weeks.
