9/1/2011: Talkin’ Hawks podcast (Iowa vs. Tennessee Tech)

Every Thursday during the 2011 football season, HawkeyeDrive.com will feature “Talkin’ Hawks,” a podcast to get you ready for the Hawkeyes’ upcoming game and other college football action.

This week, we preview Iowa’s showdown against Tennessee Tech on Sept. 3 inside Kinnick Stadium. Guests are Susan Denk, who covers the Hawkeyes for the Burlington Hawk Eye, and Thomas Corhern, who covers the Golden Eagles for the Cookeville Herald-Citizen in Cookeville, Tenn.

I’m also excited to announce that “Talkin’ Hawks” has a new addition for 2011. The final segment features former Iowa defensive back Chris Rowell (2005-09), who will be a weekly guest on the podcast all season long. In addition to providing his insight on the Hawkeyes, Rowell will also give his thoughts on all the games featured in this week’s HawkeyeDrive.com Pick ‘Em.
