STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Iowa senior guard Bryce Cartwright was unable to play in the Hawkeyes’ 69-64 loss to Penn State on Thursday at Bryce Jordan Center after suffering a high ankle sprain during a team practice held on Feb. 11 back in Iowa City. Cartwright had started Iowa’s previous four games prior to the injury.
