IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery addressed the media in a postgame press conference following the Hawkeyes’ 70-66 loss to Northwestern on Saturday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. With the loss, Iowa fell to 16-15 overall and finished 8-10 in Big Ten, tying for seventh place with Northwestern. The Hawkeyes will be the No. 8 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament and will face No. 9 Illinois in the first round on Thursday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
