INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Iowa senior guard Matt Gatens had 10 points and four assists in the Hawkeyes’ 92-75 loss to No. 8 Michigan State on Friday in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Big Ten Tournament at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
