2013 Big Ten Tournament seeding scenarios (as of March 7)

As we approach the final weekend of the regular season, eight of the 12 seeds in next week’s Big Ten Tournament remain up for grabs.

Indiana has already secured the No. 1 seed as it has won a share of the Big Ten regular season title and possesses tiebreakers on Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State, all of whom can also win shares of the conference regular season crown this weekend. In addition, Penn State has already secured the No. 12 seed and as a result of Northwestern’s loss to Penn State on Thursday, Nebraska is now locked into the No. 10 seed and Northwestern into the No. 11 seed.

Below is a complete list of every possible scenario in terms of seeding for the 2013 Big Ten Tournament in Chicago, Ill.:

THIS WEEKEND’S GAMES:

Saturday, March 9:

– Minnesota (8-9) at Purdue (7-10), 11 a.m., BTN

– Nebraska (5-12) at Iowa (8-9), 1:15 p.m., BTN

Sunday, March 10:

– Wisconsin (11-6) at Penn State (2-15), 11 a.m., BTN

– Illinois (8-9) at Ohio State (12-5), 11:30 a.m., ESPN

– Indiana (13-4) at Michigan (12-5), 3 p.m., CBS

– Northwestern (4-13) at Michigan State (12-5), 5 p.m., BTN

*All times listed are Central Standard.

NO. 1 SEED: INDIANA

Indiana has already clinched the No. 1 seed
