IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa assistant coach Kirk Speraw addressed the media in a postgame press conference following the 20th-ranked Hawkeyes’ 93-67 victory over Northwestern on Thursday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Speraw filled in for head coach Fran McCaffery, who was suspended from Thursday’s game by the Big Ten. Iowa moved to 2-1 in Big Ten play and 13-3 overall with the win.
