Iowa junior offensive tackle Riley Reiff has been selected to the 2011 Playboy Preseason All-America team. The Parkston, S.D., native is one of four Big Ten players to be featured on this year’s team, with the others being Ohio State center Mike Brewster, Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy and Nebraska defensive tackle Jared Crick.

Reiff becomes the 17th Hawkeye to ever receive this accolade, and the first offensive lineman to make the team since 2003 when former Iowa offensive tackle Robert Gallery was recognized. Gallery went on to win the Outland Trophy that year and was selected second overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders.

This marks the second consecutive year an Iowa player has been honored by Playboy Magazine. Former Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn was selected last summer and went on to be selected 20th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In addition to Reiff and Brewster, the rest of the offensive linemen selected this year were Miami’s Seantrel Henderson, USC’s Matt Kahlil, and Stanford’s Jonathan Martin.
